Dee Alvarez is a highly experienced tattoo artist at Breaking Ink in Hillsboro, Oregon, recognized for her eclectic style that consistently transcends the norm. Now in her eighth year as a tattoo artist, Dee’s extensive and varied background profoundly influences her exemplary colorful designs. A Marine Corps Veteran, she also boasts 25 years in Graphic Design, holds degrees in Psychology, Marketing & Management, and is pursuing a Social Psychology PhD. Her artistic skill sets further include fine art painting, sculpting, pottery, photography, and professional pumpkin carving. As a Breast Cancer Survivor, Dee specializes in mastectomy tattoos, offering free nipple/areola work and discounted decorative designs to help clients feel whole again. When not creating art, she enjoys spending time with her adult children and grandchild, and pursuing her passion for Pokemon GO hunting. Her life’s motto is a testament to perseverance: “Never give up on a dream, just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.”
