Dominic Kirouac is a dedicated tattoo artist and the owner of Modern Markings Tattoo, located within Sundog Studios in Airdrie, Alberta. Having begun his tattooing career full-time in 2016, Dominic brings a meticulous eye for detail, honed from his background as a machinist, to every project. He specializes in a diverse array of styles, prominently featuring black and grey realism and Neo-traditional designs, distinguished by his expert use of soft shading and bold lines. Dominic is also highly skilled in custom illustrative work, vibrant colour tattoos, and large-scale pieces, including full sleeves. Committed to crafting unique art, he works collaboratively with clients to transform their visions into one-of-a-kind tattoos. Dominic prides himself on fostering a comfortable and judgment-free studio environment, continually learning and growing as an artist. Beyond the studio, he is a proud father of two, an avid horror movie collector, and enjoys motorcycling and hiking.
