Dominic Mahala, known as Dom, is a talented artist at Sundog Studios in Airdrie, Alberta. Originally from Quebec, he developed a passion for art early on, transitioning to full-time tattooing in 2016 after a career as a machinist. This background has given him an exemplary eye for detail, which he applies to elevate his tattoos from great to truly amazing. Dom’s distinctive style blends black and grey realism with Neo-Traditional elements, and he particularly enjoys working with bright colors and bold lines. He is passionate about pushing creative boundaries, collaborating with clients to produce one-of-a-kind designs, and fostering a comfortable, non-judgmental environment. Outside the studio, Dom is a dedicated father, an avid horror movie collector, and enjoys exploring the back roads on his motorcycle or hiking in the mountains.
