Dusk Rose

Dusk Rose, whose real name is Kath’lyn, is a specialist in realism and fine line tattooing at SYCOMORE TATTOO in Montreal. Her passion for tattooing began in childhood, deeply influenced by her father, who has been a tattoo artist for over 30 years. Kath’lyn received her first tattoo machine at 16, learning the fundamentals of lines and shading under her father’s tutelage. By 21, she was a full-time tattoo artist, eager to expand her horizons and techniques. Her journey took her to Bordeaux and Montélimar, where she won her first ‘Best in Show’ award at a local tattoo convention in 2017. Over her distinguished career, Dusk Rose has had the honor of tattooing notable figures like figure skater Florent Amodio and Shawn Crahan of Slipknot, and has exchanged invaluable insights with renowned artists such as Shane O’Neil and Nikko Hurtado. Beyond tattooing, she is also an experienced model in the tattoo industry, having been featured on magazine covers and in numerous specialized publications. Kath’lyn joined SYCOMORE TATTOO after building strong friendships and working alongside Dino Nevroz and Marine Ishigo at Imago.
