Dylan Lightbourn, also known affectionately by some as Sinead McMullet, is a dedicated tattoo artist at Urge 2 Tattoo in Edmonton, Alberta. He specializes in traditional style tattoos, adeptly working with both black and grey and colour, offering clients a choice of custom designs or flash. Dylan’s artistic foundation was laid early in life, spending his childhood immersed in drawing, inspired by figures like da Vinci, and earning a fine arts award in high school. Despite pursuing a sociology/gender studies degree and a decade-long career in publishing, his profound interest in tattooing remained steadfast. He thoroughly researched tattoo history and the craft before undertaking an apprenticeship under Urge 2 Tattoo’s founder, Johnny Faulds, and fellow artist Andrew. Completing his apprenticeship during the first year of the pandemic, Dylan is committed to his rewarding career and the supportive atmosphere at Urge 2. He operates with the guiding philosophy of creating “nice tattoos for nice people,” ensuring a positive and pleasant experience for his clientele.
