Edwin Marin

Edwin Marin is an LA local, professional artist, tattoo artist, and owner of EVOL ARTS STUDIO in Downtown Los Angeles. With nearly 20 years of experience in tattooing and over 30 years as an oil painter, Edwin has been immersed in art since childhood. Before establishing Evol Arts in 2012, he refined his skills in several well-respected LA tattoo shops, working alongside exceptionally talented artists who greatly influenced his path. Edwin specializes in a diverse array of styles, including Surrealism, Fine Line Black & Grey, Color, Portraiture, Japanese, Realism, Neo-Traditional, and intricate Cover-Ups. He is deeply committed to craftsmanship and originality, ensuring every tattoo is an original piece of art developed with a unique creative vision. As he states, “If you’re not growing in your craft and finding new ways to expand your creativity then you’re falling behind,” a philosophy that drives his continuous artistic evolution. He prides himself on creating custom designs, never relying on pre-made flash or downloaded images, to bring each client’s concept to life.
