Barrs notably collaborated with Cap Coleman in Norfolk, Virginia, where Coleman sought to learn from his talent, and later invited Owen Jensen to work in his shop. His profound influence was such that Coleman’s tattooing style reportedly mirrored Barrs’ work after their time together, a testament to his exceptional skill and artistry.
