Known as hax or Seamus, this artist brings their whimsical and playful approach to tattooing at Pretty In Ink in Alameda, California. Originally from Southern California, hax moved to the Bay Area in 2010 and began their tattooing career in 2017, finding a welcoming home at PIINK. Their work is deeply inspired by a diverse range of influences, including zines, folk art, traditional tattoo imagery, “weird junk,” nature, contemporary tattooing, mason jars, and queer identity. Beyond tattooing, hax is a multifaceted artisan who dabbles in crafts such as embroidery, paper making, and gardening, enriching their artistic perspective.
