Hunter Knolmayer is a skilled tattoo artist at Remington Tattoo in San Diego’s North Park, specializing in a diverse range of styles including biomechanical, realism, geometric, psychedelic, and illustrative work, with a strong focus on large format tattooing. Born in New Jersey, Hunter cultivated a lifelong passion for art from an early age, pursuing formal education in art and design, including a degree in Fine Art – Digital Media from San Diego Mesa College. Since relocating to California in 2011 to dedicate himself to tattooing, Hunter has established a reputation for quality and creativity. Beyond tattooing, he explores various artistic mediums, with his paintings, ranging from organic alien landscapes to the elegant beauty of nature and the human form, having been exhibited at Distinction Gallery in Escondido. Hunter is committed to continuously expanding his artistic reach and plans to travel to collaborate with other tattooers and draw inspiration from diverse art forms.
