James Allen, the son of founder Larry Allen, began his tattooing journey in 1995. He completed apprenticeships under Tony Todd in Kapaa Kauai and his father at Anchorage Tattoo Studio. Although he officially retired in 2021, James continues to make guest appearances at the studio, specializing in portraits, landscapes, and animal-themed tattoos.
