James Werner is an Artist and Owner at Shipwreck Tattoo in Ellsworth, ME. He has been involved in the body modification industry since 2017, with his tattooing career beginning in 2018. After refining his craft along the east coast of Florida, James relocated to Maine in June of 2022 to co-found Shipwreck Tattoo. His work is characterized by its constant evolution and his enthusiasm for a good challenge. James excels at designing custom pieces that bring his clients’ visions to life, with a particular specialization in American Traditional, Blackwork, and Soft Black & Grey styles.
