Jay

Jay is an Artist at Oregon City Tattoo, bringing three decades of extensive tattooing experience to the shop. His career began in Venice, California, where he received a foundational formal apprenticeship from RJ & Dottie of the renowned Tabu Tattoo. Jay then spent 18 years in central California, managing and eventually owning his own successful shops, Lions Den and The Parlor. For the last decade, he has continued to ply his trade in the Pacific Northwest, primarily in the Portland, Oregon area. With a background rooted in street shops, Jay is highly versatile across most tattooing genres, including Traditional, Japanese, and Black and Grey, excelling at creating solid, enduring tattoos.
