Joel Smith is a talented artist at Syndicate Tattoo in Manhattan, KS. He embarked on his professional art career in 2004, working across various mediums as a commercial and studio artist before discovering his true passion in tattooing in 2016. Joel primarily works in an illustrative style, with nature elements being his preferred subject matter, showcasing his deep connection to the natural world. Beyond his tattooing, Joel, alongside his partner Kaila Mock, co-founded the Emporia First Art Walk in 2017, an initiative that hosts monthly art walks in Emporia, Kansas. When not tattooing, he enjoys spending his time immersed in nature or capturing its beauty through painting in his studio.
