With a strong artistic foundation, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drawing from the Alberta University of the Arts. His diverse skill set was further developed through a year-long apprenticeship at a busy street shop in Edmonton, preparing him to tackle a wide array of tattoo requests.
