Joko is the owner and main tattooer at Altered Ink Tattoo in Dickinson, North Dakota. With a tattooing career that began in 1996, Joko established Altered Ink Tattoo in November 2005, bringing their refined skills from an apprenticeship at The Burning Image in Portage, Indiana, to the local community. They are an award-winning artist, recognized for their exceptional work at tattoo conventions across the U.S. since 2009. While proficient in a diverse array of styles, Joko’s favorite specialties include black and grey realism, black and grey portraits, and vibrant full-color pieces depicting cartoon, anime, and video game characters. Their comprehensive portfolio also showcases expertise in traditional, patriotic, religious, animal, color realism, hyper-realism, and cover-up tattoos.
