Kevin Stress is a co-owner and a distinguished tattooer at Enso Tattoo in Columbus, Ohio. His artistic journey began at a very young age, fostering a lifelong passion for drawing and art. After briefly attending art college, he started his full-time tattooing career in the early 2000s, building on years of experience immersed in the tattoo community since the mid-90s. Kevin specializes in custom, large-scale color tattoos, with a particular expertise in Traditional Japanese-inspired work. He draws significant influence from renowned Japanese ukiyo-e artists like Yoshitoshi, Hokusai, and Kuniyoshi. His unique style also incorporates elements from the obscure and darker side of Asian art, as well as Buddhist, Balinese, and Tibetan imagery. Kevin has extensively traveled for guest spots and international conventions in places such as Singapore, Eindhoven, South Korea, and Bali, continually expanding his artistic inspiration from around the globe.
