Kujo is a House Artist at Hale Nui Tattoos, hailing from the Lone Star State of Texas. His lifelong passion for art, which developed from a young age alongside an interest in music, eventually led him to the world of tattooing. After formal apprenticeships as both a piercer and a tattooer, he opened his own studio, Kujo’s Tattoos, in South Texas. Kujo’s journey has included extensive national touring and working at numerous conventions, fostering his development as a well-rounded and versatile artist proficient in both color and black and gray work across a multitude of styles. In recent years, Kujo has focused on studying cultural tattoos from indigenous communities across North America, Latin America, Japan, and Polynesia, bringing this specialized interest to Hawaii, a significant hub for cultural tattoo artistry.
