Libby Sheffield is an owner, tattoo artist, and fine artist at Permanent Paint Tattoo and Fine Art Studios in Bowling Green, KY. With a lifelong dedication to art, nurtured by her artist father, Libby pursued her passion at Western Kentucky University, majoring in studio art with a concentration in sculpture and minoring in interior design. Her extensive artistic background includes co-founding Retrograde Studios, a non-profit supporting WKU art students, and contributing to set designs for Capital Arts and the Youth Theatre. Libby’s diverse skills span bronze casting, steel fabrication, oil painting, lithography, mural painting, and portraiture, allowing her to bring a rich, multifaceted perspective to her tattoo work. As part of Permanent Paint, she contributes to a studio celebrated for its expertise in fine line, traditional, neo-traditional, trash polka, sketch style, black work, realism, fantasy realism, and gray wash tattoos.
