Maddy Vallee (she/they) is a self-taught illustrator and tattoo artist at Famiglia Tattoo in Victoria, Lkwungen lands. Mentored by Cassandra Faire, their distinctive work is deeply inspired by the land and waters of Vancouver Island, particularly the remote, boat-in communities where they spent their childhood. Maddy embraces holistic themes of life, death, growth, and decay within the un-sanitized natural world, aiming to bridge the gap between nature and human experience.
