Mariana Amaral

Mariana Amaral is the owner and a seasoned tattoo artist at Ritual & Craft in Kodiak, AK, and also works from Lion’s Paw Tattoo in Everett, WA. With over a decade of experience in tattooing, complemented by a decade in graphic design and more than two decades in various art industries, Mariana brings a rich background to her craft. She specializes in black and gray neotraditional and art nouveau styles, while also excelling in American traditional, fine line, black and gray realism, and illustrative work. Mariana has a particular passion for large-scale pieces like sleeves and full back tattoos, often drawing inspiration from nature, animals, and mythology for her custom designs. A significant part of her career is dedicated to trauma-informed tattooing, including cover-ups, reworks, and blackout tattoos, always ensuring a safe and private space for all clients.
