Marifel “Mune” Bermudez is a Resident Artist at Cry Baby Studios in Washington, D.C. A DMV native, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Towson University before embarking on a freelance career as a muralist and fiber artist under the name Mune Studios. Her journey into the tattoo industry began through her public art practice, leading her to apprentice under Dr. Z at Cry Baby Studios. Marifel specializes in traditional blackwork, celestial and magical elements, bold ornaments, textures/woodcut styles, and realism, often referring to herself as Mune in connection with her evolving art career.
