Mick, the owner and operator of 3 Aces Tattoo in Columbia, SC, is a proud native of the city, bringing his artistry close to his roots. His journey in tattooing began with a rigorous two-year apprenticeship in Myrtle Beach, SC, under the mentorship of Spyder Kumo and Shane Anderson. Beyond his extensive experience, Mick is particularly drawn to freehand tattooing and excels in the demanding artistry of difficult cover-up work. When he’s not creating captivating tattoos, Mick is an active participant in Live Action Role Playing, often traveling for his hobby, and is an accomplished amateur disc golf player, frequently competing in tournaments throughout the South Carolina area.
