Nathan Peterson is the visionary founder and owner of Nathan’s Tattoos & Piercings, a leading establishment in Canoga Park, CA, which he opened in 2000. With a distinguished career in professional piercing that began in 1993, Nathan’s commitment to his craft is built upon a strong ethical foundation and a relentless pursuit of education. He developed his expertise through comprehensive training, including courses from The Gauntlet and PPIS, and specializes in a wide array of advanced techniques such as branding, scarification, suspension, surface piercings, and dermal anchors.

Nathan established Nathan’s Tattoos & Piercings with a unique philosophy: to create a safe, welcoming, and knowledgeable environment where client care is paramount. He firmly believes in mastering one’s craft, choosing to dedicate his efforts entirely to piercing rather than dividing his focus with tattooing. This dedication extends to fostering a supportive community, having apprenticed over thirty piercers throughout his career. His passion for the history of body modification is evident in his personal collection of tattoo and piercing antiquities, which are displayed within the shop.
