Nes Joyner is a Tattoo Apprentice at Moth & Magpie Tattoo Studio in Augusta, GA. A South Carolina native of Colombian descent, Nes has been captivated by the visual arts from a young age, with supportive parents encouraging their passion for drawing. Largely self-taught, they continued to seek artistic knowledge independently until joining the studio in April 2025. Nes has enthusiastically immersed themselves in the study of tattoo history, culture, and art techniques. While their artistic visions often lean towards the darker side, influenced by their love for Metal and Goth music and culture, they typically enjoy drawing for black and grey realism but also dabble in color. Despite their darker aesthetic, Nes greets clients with a big smile and happy demeanor. Outside the studio, Nes can often be found enjoying live music at venues throughout Columbia, SC.
