Nick Salzman is a highly experienced tattoo artist and a leader at Breaking Ink in Hillsboro, Oregon. With over 18 years in the industry, this “Boro-Built” local developed his passion for tattooing at a young age, eventually honing his skills through formal training. He is renowned for his intense work ethic, undeniable charisma, and a versatile skill set. Nick deeply values connecting with clients to document significant moments in their lives and helping them feel more comfortable in their own skin through his art. He specializes in complex patterns, and is one of the few artists in Oregon specializing in Polynesian Tribal. His diverse repertoire also includes Mandalas, Sacred Geometry, Paisley, Dotwork, Celtic, and Soft Black & Grey designs. Outside the studio, Nick is dedicated to coaching football and wrestling, gardening, spending time with his family, and studying apometric arts. He lives by the motto, “Treat others how you want to be treated.”
