Rachel G. is the Owner & Founder of Exotic Eye Tattoo, a distinctive studio operating seasonally in Homer, Alaska, and in the Chirripó Mountains of Costa Rica. An artist and performer throughout her life, Rachel has continuously explored new mediums of expression, discovering tattooing as a natural extension of her path—a living ritual where art moves with the body.

Her tattoo journey began with intensive training in Polynesian Tribal work on the Big Island of Hawai‘i and in New Zealand, where she immersed herself in traditions of pattern, placement, and sacred meaning. Rachel masterfully blends this foundational knowledge with her background in realism, often infused with a playful kitsch. Her specialties encompass a diverse range of styles, including Pin-Up, Black and Grey work, Pointillism, Sacred Geometry, and Indian and Asian-inspired art.

Rachel is celebrated for her intuitive and deeply personal approach, consistently creating designs that breathe with intention and flow seamlessly with the body. Her artistry focuses on crafting pieces that carry a profound resonance, honoring the unique stories and spirit of each client.
