Rachel Medellin

Rachel Medellin is an artist at Black Velvet Ink in Westerly, RI, and also manages the studio’s social media presence. Originally from Michigan, Rachel moved to Connecticut in 2018 and commenced her apprenticeship with Black Velvet Ink in 2021. She is skilled in black and gray illustrative and realistic pieces, and consistently seeks opportunities to explore and master diverse tattoo styles. In addition to her work at the studio, Rachel teaches pole dance and aerials at Aerial Arts Fitness.
