Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, he began his tattooing career 21 years ago, bringing with him a lifelong engagement in drawing, painting, and various forms of art. Rick is deeply inspired by all aspects of tattooing, his coworkers, and the remarkable pieces created daily. He consistently strives for observation and has curated an extensive library of references to spark his creativity. Rick primarily focuses on large-scale Japanese style tattooing, aiming to explore and execute this imagery as much as possible, feeling he has only just begun to uncover its full potential.
