Ro, the owner and lead artist at RO’S TATTOO EMPIRE in Las Vegas, brings over 30 years of drawing experience and a decade as a tattoo artist to his craft. A Hawai‘i-born Army veteran, his artistic style is deeply rooted in his upbringing in Hilo, drawing bold visual influences from retro video games, comic books, pop art, and island culture. He cultivates a private, appointment-only studio built on the values of Ohana, respect, and creative freedom, ensuring a serene environment where every client receives personalized attention.

Ro specializes in a diverse range of styles, including vibrant Comics, intricate Video Game Characters, Anime, Cartoons, Disney, and illustrative work. He is also skilled in loose sketchy styles, florals, animals, fantasy, movie-themed designs, mythology, nature landscapes, and geometric tattoos. His signature approach often involves character-driven panels, known for their bold, structured, and high-contrast black & grey execution, alongside distinctive pinups.
