Robert Pho is the esteemed founder of Skin Design Tattoo, a globally recognized studio with locations in Las Vegas (including Caesar’s Palace), Honolulu, Brooklyn, and Orange County. With over 30 years of experience since 1989, Robert is an internationally respected master of black and gray realism. He is particularly known for his breathtaking black and gray fine line work, intricate gradient shading, and intriguing portraits. His artistry reflects a deep patience and continuous pursuit of perfection, having set high standards for black and gray ink within the industry. An award-winning artist, Robert’s meticulous attention to detail has garnered significant acclaim and numerous awards. Beyond his artistry, he is also recognized as an activist who has championed tattoo culture, believing that art has a profound, life-saving impact. Robert currently tattoos out of Hawai’i but frequently travels to all Skin Design locations, maintaining a strong connection to his flagship Spring Mountain studio in Las Vegas.
