Robert Pho

Robert Pho is the acclaimed founder of Skin Design Tattoos, an internationally recognized studio with locations in Las Vegas, Honolulu, Brooklyn, and Orange County, including a studio within Caesar’s Palace. With over 30 years of experience, Robert has been a seminal figure in the tattoo world since 1989, renowned as one of the finest black and gray artists globally. He specializes in breathtaking black and gray fine line work, intricate gradient shading, and intriguing portraits, consistently setting the standard for the black and gray ink industry. An award-winning artist, Robert’s work reflects painstaking attention to detail, earning him significant industry acclaim and numerous publications. Beyond his artistry, he is known as an activist for tattoo culture, passionately advocating for its recognition and respect. While currently tattooing in Hawai’i, he regularly travels to Skin Design Tattoo’s various locations, always returning to his flagship shop on Spring Mountain in Las Vegas.
