Shane McCormick is the owner of Ghostfire Tattoo & Piercing in Shreveport, Louisiana. A self-taught tattooer with over 18 years of experience, Shane was born in Monroe, Louisiana, and moved to Shreveport at age 14. He opened Ghostfire in the very same building where he received his first tattoo in 1992, aiming to preserve the edgy, wall-to-wall flash street shop culture he experienced as a teenager. Shane is renowned for his approach to tattooing that ensures designs age gracefully. He enjoys creating custom pieces in his distinctive style, as well as working with his own flash and designs from other artists. Committed to ethical practices, Shane uses a completely vegan setup and actively works to reduce his carbon footprint. Outside the studio, he cherishes time with his family, rides motorcycles, paints, and embraces a punk rock ethos.
