With over 20 years of tattooing experience and 24 years in the industry, Skip began his journey in a family-owned shop in New York before moving to Tampa in 1997. He established 1603 Tattoo and Piercing Co. in 2005, cultivating a comfortable, family-like atmosphere for both artists and clients. Skip is celebrated for his diverse tattoo styles, which include oriental-based designs, detailed portraits, and classic pin-up girls, all characterized by strong, clean lines. He often employs black and gray shading with striking white highlights to make his images truly distinctive. Beyond his artistry, Skip is committed to client awareness, contributing to local and national publications and radio to educate individuals on what to consider when getting a tattoo. He also continues his work as a graphic designer, creating logos and merchandise for various companies and bands.
