Steve Bayman

Steve Bayman is the owner and a tattoo artist at Golden Stag Tattoo in Kansas City, MO. With a career in the tattoo industry since 2009, he established Golden Stag Tattoo in Midtown Kansas City, fulfilling his vision for a comfortable studio with an old Kansas City feel. Steve began his journey with a 2.5-year apprenticeship at A Different Drummer in Wichita Falls, Texas, starting in 2006, under the guidance of Steve Blakely and Rodney Schneider. He later honed his craft at Classic Tattoo Company and spent seven years with the crew at Butchs Tattoo in Blue Springs, Missouri.

Steve specializes in Traditional, Neo Traditional, and Illustrative tattoo styles, creating “tattoos that look like tattoos.” His work is distinctly influenced by the Neo-Traditional approach, characterized by bold linework and vibrant color. Having been trained in a high-volume, fast-paced walk-in environment, he is also adept at walk-in style tattoos, ensuring quality and efficiency for all clients. He values the mentorship received throughout his career and strives to create a welcoming space at Golden Stag Tattoo.
