Steve Martin, also known as “Philly Steve,” is the owner and lead artist at Black Moth Tattoo Parlor & Art Gallery in Pottstown, PA. With over 14 years of professional experience, he offers a broad and versatile artistic approach to tattooing. Martin’s extensive background includes studies in painting and graphic design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, which he integrates into his custom work.

He is highly skilled in a wide range of styles, including custom black and grey, neo-traditional, traditional Americana, Japanese, lettering, dotwork, and cover-up. His specialties also encompass fine line, mandala, geometric designs, and black and grey realism. Beyond tattooing, Martin is an accomplished exhibiting fine artist, freelance graphic designer, and screen printer, and is the founder of the streetwear brand Thieves and Beggars, launched in 2011.
