Talon VanHowten, also known as Talon Rossi, is a New Mexico native and a lifelong artist at Thorn Tattoo. His artistic journey began in graffiti before evolving into classical figurative and landscape oil painting. Talon is an illustrative composer who excels at storytelling through tattoo art, working skillfully in both black and grey and color. He embraces the challenge of new projects, dedicating himself to bringing his clients’ ideas to life with his rich background in fine art translating seamlessly to the medium of skin. Talon values the collaborative atmosphere at Thorn Tattoo, continually drawing inspiration from his team to refine and expand his craft. His books are currently open, and he also accepts walk-ins when available.
