THEA

Thea (they/them) is a queer, Indigenous, and settler artist at Famiglia Tattoo’s Victoria location. Having apprenticed in Secwepemc lands in 2018, Thea’s work distinctly focuses on following the body’s movement, mapping out and draping shapes that flow naturally. Their designs often incorporate ornaments inspired by their heritage, free-handed florals, and textural animals, creating a harmonious blend of components. Thea operates with the ideology that “Tattoo Is Medicine,” consistently striving for a practice that embodies safety, humility, and respect.
