Thea (they/them) is a queer/Indigenous/settler artist at Famiglia Tattoo in Victoria, Lkwungen lands, having apprenticed in Secwepemc lands in 2018. Their work is distinguished by a focus on following the body’s natural movement, mapping out and draping shapes that flow organically. Thea adeptly combines various components such as ornaments inspired by their heritage, free-handed florals, and textural animals. Operating under the ideology that “Tattoo Is Medicine,” they are committed to a practice that embodies safety, humility, and respect for all clients.
