Tori Skramstad is a talented artist at Rockabilly Rose Tattoo & Piercing Shop in Duncan, BC. With a deep-rooted passion for art cultivated since childhood in Lake Cowichan, Tori pursued formal training, earning a Diploma of Fine Art from Victoria College of Art and continuing studies at Vancouver Island University’s Fine Arts program. Their journey into tattooing began with an apprenticeship in 2015, where they found significant mentorship under Rose Friesen at Rockabilly Rose Tattoos. Tori specializes in custom sigils, offering unique ‘Stroke Sigil’ and ‘Stick Sigil’ designs that transform personal mantras or intentions into meaningful symbolic artwork. They also provide a selection of flash tattoos. Beyond the needle, Tori is dedicated to fostering an open, welcoming, and inclusive environment for their clients, believing that tattoos serve as a profound expression of one’s inner self. Their artistic approach is also guided by a commitment to leaving minimal environmental impact, focusing on creating beautiful, lasting artwork and positive memories.
