Yael “Jelly” Sanchez is the Owner and Lead Tattooer at Jelly’s Surly Skull®, LLC in San Angelo, Texas. Bringing a meticulous approach honed through her background as a medical assistant and phlebotomist, Jelly emphasizes strict aseptic techniques and a deep commitment to health and safety in her studio. Her journey in tattooing began with an apprenticeship in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she earned her chair in 2005. She further developed her artistry under the mentorship of Walter “Wally” Jones at Phat Kat Tats in Houston. Jelly’s extensive portfolio showcases a remarkable breadth of styles, including vibrant Neo-Traditional, intricate realism, captivating horror portraits, delicate fine line work, bold traditional designs, and expressive watercolor pieces.
