If I could give less than one star, I would! Back in Jan, I booked with Camille for April 4th at 2pm, which I secured with a $100 deposit. When April 4th arrived, she cancelled on me because she had a migraine. She asked if we could book for April 5th, we agreed to 10:30 start time. Later in the day (April 4th), around when my tattoo was initially set for, she posted on her Instagram story twice that she was out with her boyfriend, seemingly fine. I felt slighted by this. I paid money to book a day and time only to be blatantly lied to. I was going to ask for my deposit back that evening. I decided I would try to give her a chance as I was really looking forward to getting tattooed on my birthday weekend. I pulled up to the studio at 10:20. Camille arrived at 10:25. She thanked me for moving the appt to April 5th, because she “spent all day in bed”. She spent the next thirty or so minutes trying to get the printer working. During this time, I was getting increasingly more uncomfortable and unwilling to mark this experience on my body for forever. I was nervous about the time constraint, as I only booked off time from work for the 4th. I asked if we could cancel, I asked for my deposit back, and she agreed she would. Before I left, I said to Camille “by the way, I know you weren’t home with a migraine yesterday. I saw your story.” When I left the store, Ryan, her boss, followed me outside of the shop (even though he has his own client sitting in the chair also waiting for the printer issues to be resolved). He asked what happened and I said that not only did I not have enough time to get tattooed today but that I also didn’t feel comfortable with her lying to me. Camille messaged me when I left saying I would need to discuss with Ryan about getting my deposit back, which is now another lie. I lost $100 because someone else was unprepared, unprofessional, and lied to my face. Beware.

    1. Hi Emily, sorry to hear about your experience, but great that you share!
